Learn English the easy way

The 'Plus' in our name refers to our Homestay Teaching programme, especially designed for overseas visitors wishing to improve their English. Students learn English in an everyday setting while staying in a qualified teacher's home.

 One-on-one English lessons are provided each morning, but it is possible for two students to share accommodation and lessons. There is free time for shopping or sightseeing in the afternoon.
Unfortunately at the moment we are not fully operating this activity as our network of qualified teachers has been depleted by  people moving away from Christchurch since the earthquake and others deciding to retire completely.
Enquiries from agents are still welcomed but we are not able to process requests from individuals. 

Some specialised English tuition can be arranged (e.g. business, medical, legal English).

Included in the package are:

•  Home stay with all meals (while student is at home)
•  Each student has their own bedroom with study desk
•  15 hours English lessons per week (extra hours can be arranged)
•  Airport transfers

Student activities

Students are encouraged to take part in family social, sporting and leisure activities during the weekend.

If the student wishes to go on a sightseeing tour or take part in special outdoor activities (horseriding, mountain biking etc) this can usually be arranged but at the student's expense.
